This works out at about 1 megabyte per minute. Assuming the CDs are about 70 minutes each, that will result in about 34 gigabytes. EDIT: Forgot to say - 128k is a good setting for most music, but you can get away with a lower setting for speech - 96k or even 64k. That will reduce the file size proportionately.
